Hello! My name is Clara Wiercinski and I currently a sophomore in high school. I have been on the Dolphins swim team since I was five years old. Swimming has always been a huge part of my life. I started volunteer coaching our youngest Dolphin swimmers when I was 13. Last summer, I started teaching swim lessons and absolutely love it! There is nothing better than watching a swimmer grow their skills and confidence. When I’m not in the water teaching or lifeguarding, I am at the barn riding my horse, Goose. I am looking forward to teaching this summer!
Ellie Wiercinski:
Hi! My name is Ellie Wiercinski, I am 19 years old, and just finished my freshman year at Cal Poly SLO. I swam on the Dolphins swim team for 13 years and have coached for the last 4. I loved every moment of competing, and I’ve loved coaching just as much! For me, the best part of teaching is getting to see the improvement of each swimmer I work with and share my love of the sport. I loved competing in all strokes, but breaststroke has always been my favorite :) Outside of the pool, I ride horses and am on the Cal Poly equestrian team. I am so excited to teach swim lessons this summer!

-Mommy and Me Lessons
-First time Adult Swimmers
-Anyone who wants individualized time or to focus on a specific stroke or technique

Private Lesson Policies:
No Refunds or Class Exchanges between Group Lessons and Private Lessons are allowed! If you need to reschedule your Private Lesson, you must email your instructor at least 48 hours in advance. Emails for instructors are listed above next to their name.
Private Lessons are for anyone age 4 and up. Must be potty trained.
Please note: Private Lesson Instructors put their availability up as the summer goes on. They all have other jobs inside and outside of the Cabana. Specific times and dates that are not listed on the instructors availability cannot be requested.
If there's an error processing the credit card payment but you were able to book a swim instructor (i.e. you received a confirmation email), please arrive with payment in hand. Non credit card payments must be made by check (no cash). Please make check payable to Almaden Cabana Club. Please write PSL and Swim Instructor's Name in the memo bar along with the date and time of lesson. Cancelation/no-show policy still applies.
