The Board

The operational strength of the Almaden Cabana Club lies within the spirit of volunteerism shown by our members. Our cabana club’s shining attribute is the commitment of its members to participate in the club’s operations and management by volunteering.

There are several ways that you can volunteer to help at the cabana club.

  • Directors: provide annual management and daily oversight
  • Coordinators: play key operational roles and deliver great events
  • Volunteers: help get the club ready for its annual opening day and maintain the facility

If you are interested in helping to manage the club, please consider running for a Director position so that you can have a voice (and a vote!) at the board level. The club has a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and 6 At-Large Directors. All positions are voted on annually at the cabana club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), which is open to all members.

The cabana club tries to make it easy and fun to volunteer at the club, so please consider giving some of your time to help the club operate more smoothly and provide great events for our members and children to enjoy.
