Air Quality Closure Policy

Almaden Cabana Club maintains an on-site PurpleAir air quality monitor to provide hyper-local air quality readings for our facility.

If air quality conditions deteriorate and the PM2.5 Air Quality Index (AQI) appears to be trending above 150 ("Unhealthy"), the Club may close to protect the health and safety of our members and staff. The decision to close will be made at the discretion of the Director of Operations.

We will make every reasonable effort to notify members via email if the Club will be closing early due to poor air quality. However, air quality conditions can change rapidly, and closures may occur with little or no advance notice.

Members are encouraged to monitor current conditions and be prepared for operational changes during periods of wildfire smoke or other air quality events.
