We now have a junior lifeguard program for aspiring lifeguards! This program is being led by a retired SJPD officer that has taught many academy programs and has a passion for inspiring youth!
The Almaden Cabana Club Junior Lifeguard Program will provide your child with an understanding of the skills required to become a pool lifeguard by emphasizing fun and physical fitness through a variety of activities. For more information, click on the link below.

Early Morning Adult Swimming (Members Only)
If you live to swim, join the EMAS members-only program! This group of adults take advantage of morning windows to get some heavy lap swimming in when the pool is not being utilized. A yearly waiver needs to be signed before the gate access code can be provided. Please be sure to re-cover your swim lane(s) if it was covered when you got there. For more information, please contact the EMAS Club coordinator. Otherwise, register here!
Be aware that EMAS is not a guaranteed component of club membership. It exists as a courtesy to our adult lap swimmers to utilize the pool when it would normally not be occupied. EMAS swimmers must vacate the pool for Dolphin events and private Cabana events. If any of the rules above are abused the Board may elect to discontinue the EMAS program.
VOLLEYBALL CLUB (members only)
Hey you servers, spikers, blockers, setters and divers! This member program is for you! The Almaden Volleyball Club not only meets to play during open hours, they also get special access off-hours and off-season when the V-ball weather presents itself. A yearly waiver needs to be signed before the gate access code can be provided. During the open season, feel free to toss trash into the available garbage bins. But during the off-season, please take with you what you bring in. For more information, please contact the Volleyball Club coordinator. Sign the waiver here.
Volleyball Club is not a guaranteed component of club membership. It exists as a courtesy to the membership to utilize the volleyball area during non-operating hours. Any special club events will take precedence. We expect all equipment to be put away, including chairs and water hose. All trash must be deposited in proper trash bins. Any abuse of these rules may result in the Board discontinuing this program.
